2021 CEMA
Annual Meeting
June 14-15, 2021, Mohegan Sun
CEMA returns to a live, in-person conference in 2021 with our Annual Meeting at Mohegan Sun on June 14-15 and our postponed 70th Anniversary from 2020.
Our format will be like the Southern New England Energy Conferences we've held in Newport.
- A day-and-a-half education conference, ending with lunch on the second day, June 15.
- Separate heating fuels and motor fuels tracks.
- Sponsorships and 25 Tabletop Exhibits available [see Sponsor track]
- Optional one-day registration with reduced 2-day full conference registration

COVID - CT Out of the Woods
Connecticut was the first state in the nation to fully vaccinate 50% its adults, in the first week of May, and was the first state to vaccinate 70% of its adult population with at least one dose. By May 19, the state relaxed all COVID restrictions. As CT Governor Lamont recently said, COVID is for all intents and purposes over in Connecticut. Surrounding states are reporting similar results.
Mohegan Sun COVID policy
CEMA will adopt Mohegan Sun COVID policy as follows:
"Following CDC guidelines, beginning May 19th, fully vaccinated guests and team members will no longer be required to wear a mask while on the reservation but are welcome to continue if they prefer. Temperature checks will be monitored remotely at property entrances and we will continue to review additional safety measures with guidance from the Tribal and State of CT Health Departments and the CDC."

Wearing a mask at the CEMA Annual Meeting will be optional for those fully vaccinated. if you're not vaccinated, you'll be required to wear a mask, except when dining. Attendees will not be required to attest that they've been vaccinated or tested negative.
These precautions ensure that our conference will be as safe as possible for all participants.
